Luc Belaire Luxe Rosé is a French rosé sparkling wine made from a blend of Rhône-Provençal varieties, bottled in a distinctive clear flacon with embossed decorations. Belaire Luxe Rosé is created from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault, rounding off the Belaire range with a deep colour and a pronounced strawberry aroma. The Luxe and Gold cuvées are crafted in Burgundy, while Rare Rosé and Luxe Rosé come from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, prized for its rosé wines.
The producer is the French house Belaire, today part of the Pernod Ricard group. Belaire is an entirely French house of sparkling wines, and each bottle is meant to reflect the craftsmanship and authenticity of the brand. The set of varieties – Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault – are classic grapes used in the production of Provence rosé wines, which roots this blend in the region's tradition.
In the glass the wine takes on an intensely pink hue. The deep pink colour combines with aromas of fresh strawberry and raspberry, while the palate is creamy and full, with further berry notes, a delicate hint of wood and a surprising lightness. The finish is long and velvety. What sets this wine apart within the Belaire line is its oak-aged dosage and specifically chosen proportions of grape varieties.
The strength is 12.5%. Belaire Luxe Rosé works well as a chilled aperitif, with or without the addition of ice and fresh fruit, and pairs nicely with cheeses and desserts.
