Principle Cigars is a Dominican cigar brand founded in 2013, producing hand-rolled cigars ranging from mild to medium strength. The brand's motto – "Pleasing All Senses Since 2013" – reflects its philosophy of creating cigars that engage all the senses. Production of Principle Cigars All Principle Cigars are made in the Dominican Republic. Production of many formats is highly limited – some are made in quantities of just 10 pieces per day. The brand uses tobacco from many regions around the world: Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, United States, Zimbabwe, and even Burma. For special projects, Principle collaborates with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, one of the world's most respected cigar makers, at whose Casa Carrillo lines such as Accomplice Decienne and Time To Burn were created. Principle Cigars Lines The Aviator Series – the classic line where it all began. Ecuadorian corojo wrapper, Dominican binder, filler from Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and United States. Medium-strength cigars dominated by earthy and leathery notes with discreet sweetness. Despite a generous amount of tobacco, the construction ensures good draw and even burn. Formats include Perfecto, Robusto, Toro, Churchill, and Grande Pyramida. Accomplice – an extensive line where fabric bands are a distinctive element. Each color indicates a different version: Blue Connecticut is the mildest offering with delicate notes of roasted nuts and creaminess, wrapped in a five-year-old wrapper leaf. Classic WB (White Band) features medium-strength cigars with Brazilian wrapper and Ecuadorian binder – slightly tart at the start, evolving toward creaminess, cedar wood, and milky coffee. Purple Robusto (an extension of the WB line with corojo wrapper) offers more intense flavors of hickory, cream, sweet tobacco, and baking spices. Green Maduro is a classic maduro cigar with the right amount of sweetness, creamy medium-intensity smoke, and spice aromas, without bitterness. Accomplice Decienne LE – a limited edition created in collaboration with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo for Principle Cigars' anniversary. An impeccably clean profile with an enticing presence of dried fruits and harmonious acidity, delivered with thick, velvety smoke. Time To Burn – a project begun in 2023 for the brand's 10th anniversary, also made at Casa Carrillo. An elegant, balanced cigar in Toro 6.5 x 52 format with a timeless maduro blend. Earthiness, sweetness, dark chocolate, and plenty of thick smoke – from tobacco leaves from Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. The Archive Collection – Straphanger Ukraine – a unique piece in the Principle portfolio. Each cigar is labeled with an original bus ticket printed for the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine, with a unique serial number. Tobacco leaves come exclusively from the island of Hispaniola – filler from Dominican Republic and Haiti, binder from Dominican Republic, wrapper from the Monte Plata region – making it the first "Puro Hispaniola" in the Principle Cigars family. Formats: Corona and Corona Gorda. Petit Provocateur Flechettes – one of Principle's best-selling cigars, in a unique petit lancero format.
