Paco & Lola is a fairly young but already highly regarded brand from the Rias Baixas region, famous for its excellent white wines. This is a region with significant Atlantic climate influence, characterized by mild temperatures and high rainfall intensity during the winter season. There are diverse soil types here: granitic, sandy, and rich in organic matter, rarely located above 100 meters above sea level. Fragmented vineyards are characteristic of the region, and the king of grape varieties here is Albariño. It is characterized by early ripening, a beautiful golden color, small clusters, and small individual berries. It is the most famous Spanish white variety in the world. The Paco & Lola winery was opened in 2006 and is equipped with the latest technology. A young, energetic team produces wines here with great enthusiasm, exclusively from the Albariño variety. The fruit is hand-harvested from vines of different ages (8 - 100 years) from over 200 hectares spread across more than 1900 tiny plots. Their specificity and diversity ensure that the wines have absolutely brilliant aromatic intensity.
