Cornas oznacza „spaloną ziemię”, to fraza, która w pełni odzwierciedla terroir, naznaczone wyjątkowym nasłonecznieniem winnicy. Wino Cornas skomponowane jest z gron Syrah i charakteryzuje się głęboką granatowo-czerwoną barwą. W aromacie bardzo intensywne, z czarnymi owocami, pikantnymi przyprawami oraz nutami fiołków. Leżakowane rozwija aromaty skóry oraz lukrecji. W ustach mocne taniny, z mocnym ciałem, pokazujące całe bogactwo Syrah. Wino o potencjale dojrzewania 15-20 lat. Najlepiej podawać w temperaturze od 16°C do 18°C.
