Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II is a limited-edition 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky, created in collaboration between fashion designer Harris Reed and the brand's Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop. It marks the next chapter in the brand's partnership with Harris Reed and forms part of the Fashion Collection, uniting the designer's creative language with the craftsmanship that has shaped Royal Salute since its founding in 1953.
Royal Salute was created by Chivas Brothers in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The name refers to the 21-gun salute, and from the outset the whisky was launched as a 21-year-old blend, setting it apart from standard blended Scotch.
At the heart of this edition lies the selection of its component whiskies. Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II features a greater proportion of Longmorn whisky along with whiskies matured in first-fill Sherry butts, lending heightened creamy and spiced notes. In addition, Braeval single malt and Strathclyde grain whisky give the blend a delicate, floral profile.
The nose reveals juicy clementine, sweet ripe pears, freshly baked sponge cake, hazelnut, salted caramel, cinnamon sticks and a hint of chamomile. On the palate, fresh raspberries, apple rings, creamy vanilla and cherry compote are set against orange chocolate and sweet toasted oak, all rounded off by a warming spice; a blend of pronounced nuance, combining vibrant fruit with warm spice and balanced sweetness on the finish. Bottled at 40% ABV, 0.7 litre.
The limited-edition decanter is available in two design variants, both drawing inspiration from royal attire. The designs reinterpret royal crowns through intricate lace patterns, infused with Harris Reed's contemporary flair. This Fashion Collection release debuted in December 2025, distributed exclusively in the markets of Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Poland.
