History and profile of Capetta The Capetta family's winemaking history dates back to the 1950s. From the very beginning, the business was based on the production of sparkling wines, although today you will also find still wines in their offer – both white and red, dry and sweet. The company is located in Piedmont – one of Italy's most important wine regions. Capetta works long-term with many grape growers, having at their disposal exclusively hand-picked grapes from over 250 hectares. The winery's own surface area is impressive – approximately 50 thousand square meters. Production Capetta's philosophy combines tradition with modern technology: stainless steel tanks, controlled fermentation and storage temperature, microfiltration, and air-conditioned warehouses. A team of three oenologists oversees all processes.
