This is a globally unique terroir – a combination of natural climatic, soil and geographical conditions of a given place – with soil that is a mixture of volcanic lava and clay, which gives the local wines their individual character. The wines are made from endemic, ancient varieties characteristic of Campania, such as Falanghina and Coda di Volpe, which were already mentioned by the historian Pliny the Elder in his "Natural History" from the 1st century AD. Added to these are the Aglianico, Greco and Fiano varieties – the flagship representation of the region. De Falco Philosophy – modernity and heritage De Falco is a modern winery that, while caring for the thousand-year-old cultural heritage of the region and with concern for the surrounding environment, creates wines that reflect the character of Campania.
