Maestranza Cigars is a line of hand-rolled cigars from the Meerapfel family, produced in a factory in Honduras. The brand combines tobaccos from three Central American countries, creating cigars with a deep, spicy-woody character. History of Maestranza Cigars Maestranza Cigars is a brand created by the Meerapfel family. Originally, the line was produced exclusively for Mahesh P. Ramnanan – Managing Director of Rasa Trading, owner of The Oak Lounge, and member of the Tallinn Cigar Club. Maestranza Production Maestranza cigars are hand-rolled in a factory in Honduras. The core consists of a blend of leaves from Nicaragua and Honduras with deep spicy-woody flavors. The Costa Rican binder – the wrapper layer directly under the cover – adds earthy aromas, while the Honduran wrapper leaf completes the entire composition with smoothness and a subtle nutty note.
