Stumbras Distinct Young Potato is a Lithuanian potato vodka bottled at 40% ABV, part of the Distinct line, in which every product is built around a single, expressive raw material. Distinct is a separate Stumbras product line where each expression has its own character and style derived from its individual origin, and the vodkas in this series are made from distinctive ingredients such as carefully selected winter wheat or young potatoes.

Behind the production stands Stumbras of Kaunas, one of Lithuania's oldest distilleries. Classic production has remained largely unchanged since 1906, when Stumbras, founded in Kaunas, began making grain vodka using the classic method. Today the brand belongs to MV Group Production. MV GROUP, established in 1992, is one of the largest business groups in the Baltic states, and its production sector is represented by such plants as Stumbras, Alita, Anykščių Vynas and Gubernija.

The vodka is distinguished by its raw material and the way it is processed. Naturally gluten-free, with a hint of earthiness yet fresh and clean, it is distilled eight times and made exclusively from selected young potatoes. The process involves the careful selection of potatoes, which are then fermented and distilled in both modern and traditional apparatus, allowing their characteristic properties to be preserved.

In the glass it appears as a crystal-clear spirit with a delicate profile. According to the IWSC, the vodka is subtly aromatic with a note of vanilla, while gentle white pepper complements a soft, elegant sweetness, leading into a light, extended finish. Distilled from potatoes, it is marked by a velvety texture and a crisp finish – a profile that earned it a silver medal at the London Spirits Competition 2024.

The producer recommends serving Stumbras vodkas chilled. Traditionally they are served cooled to 5–10ºC, in a shot glass.
